Just a quick update, not that I expect that I have any who frequent here as yet, but I had an eventful summer, with lots of travel, including joining the fun with CSW Expo 2025 in Tempe.

After returning, I then had eye surgery, for both eyes, and the results were…less than stellar. While I can see, my vision issues were such that looking at a screen for any length of time was both fatiguing and disorienting.

It still remains a bit of a struggle.

However, there is some promise in the form of two new pair of glasses, which ought to allow my eyes to focus better, remove the double-vision issues, and give me some quality of life back after not being able to read a book in the last six weeks, including game and wargame rules.

Whether I will be able to properly assemble and paint miniatures remains up in the air, but I have hope.

I have made several purchases, since my last post, that I should not have done, but striking when the iron is hot generally assuages the financial pinch felt later.
